“Embodying function improves function.” Eric Franklin, creator of the FRANKLIN METHOD®
One of my greatest joys as a teacher of Embodied Anatomy is the moment a student’s eyes light up with the “Aha!” of insight. It’s the moment when something understood only mentally shifts, and is fully felt in the body.
In Embodied Anatomy classes, students learn by listening, seeing and visualizing, doing and feeling. In this way, all learning styles are utilized to maximize understanding and full embodiment.
